Availability during the off-season
You can reach us by telephone from Monday through Friday and we read emails on a daily basis. We will also be processing your requests by telephone and email between May and August! Reservations for overnight stays during the winter season 2010/11 (starts 25.12.2010) can be made by telephone or online starting mid September 2010. 19.4.2009 End of season
On Sunday 19 April 2010 visitors stayed overnight in the igloos for the last time this season. We are very happy about the successful first season in St. Moritz and the successful season in Andorra, Davos-Klosters, Engelberg, Gstaad, Zermatt and on Zugspitze mountain. We are also thankful to our partners and our staff who significantly contributed to our success.

15.10.2009 Believe it or not! At least you can book winter time now in the igloo village. Seven locations are available for igloo village fun this winter - enough variety to choose from for repeaters and snow house starters. Igloo villages are located in Davos-Klosters, Engelberg, Gstaad, Zermatt, Andorra, Zugspitze and for the first time St. Moritz. While the sculpture-decorated igloo at this noble ski resort is not yet for accommodation, the snow bar at an altitude of 2450m near the Muottas Muragl however is perfectly suited for exclusive events and parties. The igloo village in Gstaad has moved from Eggli to the Sannerslochgrat. |

6.10.2008 An Igloo Village in Andorra!
The snow and shopping paradise in the Pyrenees, located between France and Spain, is just two hours by car from Barcelona or Perpignan. For the first time the Iglu-Dorf GmbH is building a snow palace in Grandvalira at 2300 meters above sea level with a fantastic view of a breathtaking mountain silhouette. The guests enjoy untouched nature, the gleaming stars, and cuddling on the sheepskin at night. And all that in the middle of the Pyrenees! In addition to the Igloo Village, two igloo bars are also available for events and to quench your après-ski thirst. Husky sleigh rides and snowmobile rides are an additional attraction. Discover Grandvalira, the largest ski resort of the country with over 200 kilometers of slopes. Unique – Different – Andorra! |

15.6.2007 Igloo Village is moving from Scuol to Davos - Klosters
Starting in the coming winter season of 2007/08 our Igloo Village in the Canton of Graubünden will be in Davos - Klosters. That means that after 10 years we will no longer be building an IGLOO VILLAGE in Scuol. The decision in favour of the Davos - Klosters location was based on economic considerations. This was a very difficult step for us from an emotional standpoint, as Scuol is the “birthplace” of the Igloo Villages. Ten years ago the first igloos were built there and afterwards other Igloo Villages opened. After all, the support of the Scuol Mountain Railways, the Scuol Tourism Association and the numerous other partners over many years helped make the Igloo Villages possible in the first place. Therefore Iglu-Dorf GmbH would like to thank everyone sincerely who so energetically supported us over the past years! We look forward to cooperating with our local partners in the new location. |

Igloo Village wins the Swiss Economic Award!
THUN. Iglu-Dorf GmbH (Igloo Village) has won the Swiss Economic Award! On May 4th, the founder and managing director Adrian Günter received the prize in Thun in front of 1200 high-ranking guests such as Kofi Annan, business representatives, politicians, and 120 journalists. The Igloo Villages were distinguished by the Swiss Economic Forum (SEF) as the most innovative new company in the category “service”. A jury consisting of business representatives – including Adrian Bult, CEO Swisscom Mobile, and Martin Honegger, Marketing Director of IBM Central Europe – chose the winner from nine finalists. Altogether more than one hundred young entrepreneurs participated in the most important competition of its kind in Switzerland. For the prize winners “the door is now wide open for investors and strong international partners”, says Carolina Müller-Möhl, President of the Jury. The prize is awarded for outstanding entrepreneurial achievements. The organizers wish to enhance quality and professionalism as well as the spread and implementation of clever ideas and projects.
