The Parsenn region above Davos is one of the original centres of the ski industry in Switzerland. The Davos Igloo Village is located below the Weissfluhjoch station on Parsenn at the Schifer/Totalp branch at an altitude of 2,620 metres.

The art theme in winter 2017/18 in the igloo village Davos was "a journey through Africa".
